Hello, my friends!
This is almost a mini “Etcetera” post because of the amount of photos and topics in here! These lush, glowy photos just make me happy, so I hope you guys enjoy them too. 🙂 If you haven’t already done so, check out my last post to see some cute pet photoshoots, also from housesitting. Otherwise, onward to tasty pictures!
PLUMS
We’ll start with this loaded plum tree guarded by chickens. 😉 These yellow plums were even better than the purple ones from the grocery store. I snacked on quite a few while I did the chicken chores, hehe.
BLUEBERRIES
I didn’t realize how very photogenic blueberries are, goodness! I had to stop myself after a while because I could have taken hundreds of pictures of these guys. As it is, enjoy a few of my favorites. (Especially the one at the end. I worked hard for that shot. 😛 )
GARDEN
Get ready for a splash of green! The morning dew adorning these little tomato plants and sun shining through some climbing tendrils fascinated me. So sparkly! 😀
FLOWERS
You know me – I could take pictures flowers all day. But I didn’t. It was tempting for those aesthetic white ones at the end, though! They remind me of something Rebecca from A Clothes Horse would photograph.
ETCETERA
Featuring some beautiful apples and THE PRETTIEST LIGHT, ah! I should take pictures in the morning more often. That glow…! Especially on the last one… ❤
Yay, I managed to fit all those photos in one post! I had to make a few collages to squeeze everything in, but I did it! XD I hope you guys enjoyed scrolling through the large amount of pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them. 🙂
Which photo(s) did you like best? Plums or blueberries?
Thanks so much for reading, my friends, and have a lovely day!

Your photographs are beautiful! The ones with the dew are my fav and the Zinnia one. It’s curious seeing the dew droplets still. Zinnias always bring back memories of when I had flower gardens in preview years.

Ah, thanks! I love the dewy ones too. And yes, zinnias are such fun flower garden flowers!

I know, it’s always fascinating to me to see the way food grows instead of just finding it in the grocery store! My pleasure, Dee.

These were beautiful. I enjoyed the blueberries, because of the interesting range of colors. You did a great job capturing the light in these photos.

Thanks, Susan! YES, I absolutely love the colors of the blueberries, ripe and unripe. And I really appreciate that! I did my best with the light so I’m glad you like how it turned out.

These are all fantastic! It was such a beautiful, calming blog post. I love the concept of stopping to find beauty in the simple things. You must use a macro lense? Awesome camera work, and you have a great eye. 🙂 I think the blueberry shots were my favorite… but man, hard to pick. I loved ALL of them. Ha, ha!

Oh my goodness, such a sweet comment! ❤ Thank you, Nicole. I am definitely a fan of finding beauty in simple things. I actually just used a 35mm lens for these photos and then cropped them sometimes to show the close-up angles. I really like the blueberry ones too!

These photos are absolutely gorgeous! My favorite is the one of the two blueberries. You’ve probably answered this before, but what camera do you have and what platform do you use to edit your photos?

Ah, thank youuu! And yes, that one makes me happy, hehe. Sure! I usually put some info on that in a “P. S.” at the bottom of my post if you’re ever curious. I use a Nikon D3400 camera with (this time) a 35mm lens, and I use Lightroom + occasionally picmonkey.com to edit my photos.
